The Troyer Family established Troyer Farms Snack Food in Waterford, PA in 1967. Over the next three decades the Company branched into New York, Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana. In 1984, Troyer Farms purchased Cleveland based Dandee and a Canonsburg, PA pretzel factory. Troyer Farms manufactures assorted varieties of potato and corn chips, popcorn and other snacks in its Erie County plant which employs about 200 people.
