After 1969 the Gum Arabic trade was monopolized by Government in Sudan. The Gum Arabic Co.Ltd Sudan was formed with an Active partnership of regional producers, merchants Government and Co.Executives. Our Co. M/S Shantilal L.Shah awarded with Agency. Today we have been given 50% of their supplies to India. In 1974. Mr. Rajendra Shah.(Raju Shah) joined the business, and expanded the business activities to cater Pharmaceutical, Pure Drink, Food & Flavour Industries.

Today we have our own network in Nigeria one of the biggest Producer of Grade II / III / Talha type of gum Arabic in the world. We have well known Indian Byer to our list today , from Pure Drinks , Parle (Thums Up), Pioma (Rasna) Pharmaceutical : Glaxo , Parke Davis . Flood & Flavour : Bush Boake Allen ( I ) Ltd , Quest International (Narden).

GRADE & PROCESSING : The Gum Arabic is derived from the tree in crystal form. Grade I : Cleaned & Hand picked selected. The cleaned Ambar sorts grade. Hand Picked selected called H.P.S grade bigger tears, lighter colour remains the choice for Food , Beverage and Phamaceutical Application in worldwide accept India . This grade may be further processed in destination countries in to the forms needed for incorporation into the final products. Over 90% of the world production of this grade is Exported to India due to: -This grade is mixed with bark, different sizes and colours.India is the only country have the skill of grading, cleaning and processing the same grade as per the requirement of different Industry. -Low Price. -Cheap Labour. -Higher Import Duties.
